Eric Armusik - Liturgical Painter

When I was 20 years old, I picked up a copy of Dante’s Inferno and it had a profound effect in shaping my work. Twenty-three years later I am embarking on the most ambitious painting series of my life - painting a near-lifesized version of Dante's Inferno.  For this project, I am working in tandem with Professor Christopher Kleinhenz, a world-renowned Dante scholar to compose 40 of the most ambitious paintings ever created on the subject.  The completion of these paintings will culminate in a traveling museum exhibition and a large, full-color painting book on the subject narrated by Professor Kleinhenz.  We will complete this project in 2019, just two years before the 700th anniversary of Dante's death.

HOW TO BE A CONTRIBUTOR

To give me the financial freedom to execute this epic project, I am selling the original paintings in this series to collectors at a wholesale cost.  However, the value of these paintings today are worth much more than the wholesale price and will rise exponentially once the series is complete. Nothing this scale has ever been executed since the poem was created almost 700 years ago.  This is an opportunity to support a project that will not only go down in history but to also own a part of it.  Paintings can be reserved on a first come first serve basis.  Email Eric for more details.
